These short tests help teachers screen students in order to place them at the correct stage of Sunshine Decodables. The screening tests comprise of Phonemes (one test covering both Series 1 and Series 2), Words (including decodable words and nonsense words) and Tricky Words. The Words tests are separated into Series 1 and Series 2. The information is extracted from the Phonics assessment in our Teachers’ Books. Each assessment can be downloaded individually when needed, or a complete set can be downloaded using the button below.
